I’m Samantha Ensign, a 19-year-old competitive recurve archer on the Olympic path. I’ve been shooting for eight years — through Olympic trials, international competition for Team USA, and individual gold at the 2025 Indoor World Series. I train full-time as a resident athlete and study at Liberty University.
Archery has taught me how to be still when everything around me is loud — and honestly, that’s where this whole project started. In the tent between ends, on long bus rides, behind the shooting line: that’s where athletes actually talk. About the nerves nobody sees, the losses that sting for weeks, and the tiny wins that keep you going.
Real Talk On The Field started because the best conversations in sports happen off the record — in the tent, on the bus, behind the line. This is where those conversations live: real talk with real athletes about pressure, setbacks, comebacks, and everything in between.
I’m just getting started — the first athlete features are on their way, and I want this to be a home for every sport, not just mine. If you’ve got a story worth telling, I want to hear it.
